How Tilli & Tambo Came to Be

When my daughter was little, I told her a story I made up on the spot about a clever mouse and a friendly elephant. It was about friendship, courage, and the feeling of not being alone. Soon, Luisa didn't want to hear any other bedtime story. Later, I wrote down the story of Tilli & Tambo, and then it lay forgotten in a drawer for years. Recently, I had a few days, so I had the whole thing lovingly illustrated by ChatGPT/Dall-E and then edited by a graphic designer. Four books are now available on Amazon, one of them in English, and a fifth is in preparation.

Originally, Tilli & Tambo was intended as a read-aloud story for parents or grandparents. However, I am especially delighted when children read it themselves. That makes me proud and happy.

I recently played around with the video AI Grok and had some nice clips generated around Tilli & Tambo. Feel free to watch them. It's crazy what's possible nowadays, isn't it? The basis was merely the images generated by ChatGPT/Dall-E (I naturally wrote the texts myself) and a short prompt.
